Note: the following is only an example. You need to replace all the sample information with your own information if you want this to work on your own computer!

You need the following information:

Start DynamIP and choose the menu Setup|Mail:

After entering the above information you click the OK button. From now on DynamIP will check whether you have received new e-mail every 5 minutes whenever you are online (DynamIP will abort the mail check if it cannot be completed within 30 seconds)..

The above setup will also play the sound file yougotmail.wav and  start Microsoft Outlook Express automatically whenever you receive new mail. The latter is achieved by entering the path and file name of your e-mail client into the appropriate field, in this example C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe.
